Santa Teresa Travels reserves the right in its sole discretion to change modify add or remove portions of these Terms of Use at any time. It is your responsibility to check these Terms of use in order to check for updates. Your continued use of the site following the posting of changes will mean that you accept. Santa Teresa Travels may make changes to the services offered on the Site or prices changes to them at any time without notice. Santa Teresa Travels makes no commitment to update the content on the Site.

If you decide to purchase Shuttle Transportation with Santa Teresa Travels we need you to provide us your personal information to make the reservation we need information like your email address name and the names of the people that are traveling with you; if you do not provide us the complete information we will probably be unable to offer the service. For the services pay you also have to provide us all your credit card details through the online payment service. Note that this statement may be altered by Santa Teresa Travels at any time without notice; but we will make every effort to keep the website updated and thus reflect our current policies. You are responsible for your behavior on this site; you agree to indemnify and hold Santa Teresa Travels its subsidiaries and affiliates officers directors employees agents successors and assignees harmless from and against any loss damage liability cost or expense of any kind (including attorneys fees) that you may incur in connection with a third party claim as of your use of the web site.

Statement of Cardholder

Furthermore by my notarized signature here below I hereby acknowledge that I have read in full and I further agree to abide by all of Santa Teresa Travels trip cancellation changes and refund policies as expressed clearly in the Terms & Conditions included in this website and I agree to pay the amount here authorized even though I have not signed an original charge authorization form or voucher.This is for protection of Santa Teresa Travels in case of a NO-SHOW on the day of the service or if I had cancelled the service less than 30 days prior to departure as well as for the convenience of the clients if they should choose to use the same credit card as the final method of payment.

Important Operation Policy

Santa Teresa Travels offers private Shuttle Transportation throughout Costa Rica. Reservations are required for every service and the service is operated only from hotel to hotel. The reservation must specify names and number of passengers date of service as well as pick up and drop off places. Pick up and drop off places must always be hotels. Customers without reservations will not be allowed to board the shuttles even if there is space available. Customers can only cancel the trip 48 hours before departure time.

Fare Changes

The price of service appears on the itinerary for each service requested. This price is the one-way fare for the segment shown on the service(s) (including tax). If a customer wants or needs to change a segment with a different time date or routing from that shown on your itinerary and if the customer under the modification policies is allowed and this new segment has a different price than the original segment shown on your itinerary an additional charge or refund may be made by our trip representatives. For further information ask our customer support representative to info@santateresatravels.net Santa Teresa Travels will strive to carry you and your luggage with reasonable dispatch but times shown on the itinerary or elsewhere are not guaranteed and form no part of this contract. Santa Teresa Travels may without notice substitute alternate code share partners or segments and if necessary may alter or omit stopping places shown on the ticket. Schedules are subject to change without notice. Santa Teresa Travels is not responsible or liable for failure to make connections or to operate any shuttle service according to schedule nor is Santa Teresa Travels responsible for any change to the schedule of any shuttle service. Under no circumstance shall Santa Teresa Travels be liable for any special incidental or consequential damages arising from the foregoing.

Luggage Liability

Santa Teresa Travels liability for loss or damage of checked or transferred luggage is limited to the actual value of the luggage or $600.00 whichever is less. If the passenger declares a higher value Santa Teresa Travels will not cover more than the sum of $600.00. Responsibility for loss or damage by Santa Teresa Travels must be proven for this policy to take effect. Santa Teresa Travels assumes no responsibility for loss damage of transferred luggage not acceptable for transportation by Santa Teresa Travels as checked luggage items damaged as a result of items contained in checked or transferred luggage and items accepted by Santa Teresa Travels pursuant to the execution of a release form. Santa Teresa Travels assumes no liability for any luggage loss or damage. Santa Teresa Travels assumes no liability for articles carried in the passenger cabin. Santa Teresa Travels assumes no liability for minor damage such as scratches scuffs stains dents cuts and dirt resulting from normal wear and tear. Santa Teresa Travels is not responsible for damage to contents if the outside of the hard-sided case is not damaged. Santa Teresa Travels assumes no responsibility for damage to or loss of protruding luggage parts such as wheels straps pockets pull handles hanger hooks or other items attached to the luggage. Santa Teresa Travels assumes no liability for any indirect consequential incidental punitive or special damages resulting from loss damages for lost revenue or profits loss of use or business interruption.

General Acceptance of Luggage

General Acceptance of Luggage Only luggage as defined in the definition section will be accepted for transportation. All luggage is subject to inspection. Checked luggage will be accepted for transportation only on shuttle service on which you are traveling. Santa Teresa Travels will not accept luggage whose size weight or characteristics makes it unsuitable for Transportation on the minivan as determined by Santa Teresa Travels. Other than exceptions for certain special items no article will be accepted as luggage if it weighs more than 70pounds/32kgs or has a total outside linear dimension (length plus width plus height) of more than 62inches/157cm. Additional restrictions apply to some Santa Teresa Travels services. Free Luggage Allowance For each passenger the following pieces will be carried free of charge: One checked piece with total outside dimensions not exceeding 62 inches/157cm each. Checked luggage may weigh 72pound/32kgrs. This luggage piece will be tagged and placed in the luggage compartment. One carry-on item with total outside dimensions not exceeding 45 inches/114cm.Carry-on luggage may weigh up to 40pound/18kgrs.The carry-on item must stay with the passenger at all times. Santa Teresa Travels will not assume liability for loss or damage to carry-on items left unsupervised by the passenger.This includes carry-on items incorrectly stored within the luggage area of the bus. Santa Teresa Travels will not assume liability for any personal belongings left in our vehicles. Manual wheelchairs without assistance devices will be carried free of charge for qualified handicapped passengers. (Our buses? structures are not able to transport wheelchairs or any other kind of power chair). Extra charges apply to additional non-oversize and/or non-overweight pieces. Acceptance of children

Accompanied: Children under 12 years of age will be accepted for transportation when accompanied by a passenger of at least 18 years of age. Unaccompanied:Unaccompanied children under 12 years of age will not be accepted under any circumstances.Unaccompanied teenagers over 12 years of age will be accepted and considered an adult not as a child. Teenagers will travel under their parent?s responsibility and Santa Teresa Travels assume no liability.


General Refunds if you decide not to use the service and unless the ticket specifies otherwise Santa Teresa Travels will issue a refund as follows: If the itinerary is totally unused the full amount paid will be refunded.However an administrative service charge or refund penalty up to the full amount paid may be assessed if applicable. This is according to the cancellation policies. If the itinerary is partially used the refund will be the difference between the fare paid and the fare for the transportation actually used as determined by the applicable rules. Services purchased with a credit card will be refunded only as a credit to the credit card account. Santa Teresa Travels assumes no liability for any special incidental or consequential damages for instances in which we do not meet our goals for processing refunds. Services purchased with a prepaid method will be refunded only to the purchaser and an administrative service charge will be applied. Our Customer Support representative will ask the purchaser about the best way to make the refund. Once travel has commenced refund requests for lower fares will not be honored. Santa Teresa Travels will strive to process eligible refunds in the time frames set out below upon receipt of all required information. Some tickets are not refundable. See Cancellation Policies. If you had paid with a credit card refunds will be provided within 10 business days of receipt of the required refund information. The credit card refund may take up to two billing cycles before appearing on a credit card statement so you should contact your credit card company directly to verify receipt of the credit.


Loss: In the case of delay or loss an initial complaint must be presented to the carrier prior to leaving the arrival airport for which the luggage was checked or should have been checked. At the latest such initial report must be made within four hours of the arrival of the flight on which the passenger traveled.If compensation is sought for a delay or loss a written claim in the form provided by the carrier must be received by the carrier no later than forty-five days after the initial report was presented and recorded by the carrier.In case of lost or damaged luggage contact Santa Teresa Travels directly. Damaged Luggage: No action shall lie in the case of damage to luggage.

Customers with Disabilities

Santa Teresa Travels strives to provide disabled passengers with dignified professional and courteous service at all times.The Customer Support representative who responds to the customer?s initial email passes all pertinent information to our operation department once the customer has made the reservation. Assistive Devices Unfortunately Santa Teresa Travels is not able to accept motorized and non-motorized assistance devices for transport.We are able to accept manual wheelchairs which we will disassemble and reassemble for customers when they travel.We do not provide wheelchairs to our customers.


At Santa Teresa Travels seeing-eye dogs accompanied by their owner are welcome; this service animal is the responsibility of its owner and must be under the control of its owner at all times (i.e. leash harness or carrier). The service animal must ride in the minivan within the customer?s space. Service animals may not travel in the aisle or occupy a seat. Santa Teresa Travels reserves the right to refuse passage to any animal that poses a direct threat to the health and safety of other customers Santa Teresa Travels personnel or contractors.


Santa Teresa Travels minivan trip representatives will provide customers aboard an affected minivan with timely and frequent updates regarding known delays.Your representative will strive to provide the best available information concerning the duration of delays and to the extent available the service?s anticipated departure time. We are not responsible for any special incidental or consequential damages if we do not meet this commitment. Santa Teresa Travels assumes no liability if the delay was caused by force majeure events and we do not get you to your final destination on the expected arrival time.

Authority of charge contract

No agent employee or representative of Santa Teresa Travels has the authority to alter modify or waive any provision of the Conditions of Carriage unless authorized in writing by a corporate officer of Santa Teresa Travels.

Sharing of Personal Information

Santa Teresa Travels will never sell your personal or financial information to any third party. Your personal or financial information however may be shared with third parties who are authorized by Santa Teresa Travels for the following purposes: credit card verification and fraud detection purposes as part of your ticket purchase; legal disclosure to a governmental agency law enforcement authority or court as required by law.

Personal Information

Personal Information Collected For Processing Transactions; Santa Teresa Travels collects personal information (name address phone number etc.) as well as a credit card number to process transactions. An e-mail address for an online purchase is mandatory; it is required for your confirmation statement.


If any term of this agreement is unlawful void or for any reason unenforceable by any court of any jurisdiction; such term shall be deemed severable from the remaining terms in that jurisdiction and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of such remaining terms. Santa Teresa Travels may change the Terms & Conditions at any time users must do their review any changes will be posted on this page and users are responsible for reviewing the site to ensure compliance.
